About Us

Emancipation enactment

The mission of The Assin Foundation is to help support the various communities with special affiliation for an Assin ethnic group and its diaspora in Ghana and abroad.

Our primary goal is to protect, establish and develop a HERITAGE PARK, approximately 100 acres, that is just off the River Pra and the ancient town of Assin Praso.

To build a Heritage and Cultural centre building, Central region, Ghana. Offering school visits and general public tours.

Next to the Heritage Park we like to establish a Assin Praso Heritage Village offering a new craft industry, training and small enterprises for craft services and gifts for guests to the Park.

This Heritage Centre building will house the Assin Museum and the office for ancestral research, tourism information centre, hosting cultural events and managing festivals and local and national events services.

The Foundation is to raise awareness of Assin and Ghana, attract tourism and assists with development projects, especially for the Assin communities in the Central region of Ghana.

It is planned that the community building is of modern design incorporating a revolutionary energy saving conditioning systems which will include a potable water treatment system, not only for the building but also its local community providing fresh cool water.

This project is with the cooperation and support of OSiCi Ghana.
